Gelukkige JeugdStichting · Bennebroek
About the foundation

What we are, and why we exist

Stichting Gelukkige Jeugd was founded on 8 September 2023 by notarial deed. We work from Bennebroek, for people across the Netherlands affected by the war in Ukraine.

Our purpose

Our statutory purpose (article 2(1) of the statutes) reads, verbatim:

“helping people who have become victims of the war between Russia and Ukraine, providing food, clothing, shelter, integration, rehabilitation, vehicles, relocation, safety, study, work and legal and psychological assistance”.

In addition, the foundation undertakes “all further acts that are related to the foregoing in the broadest sense, or that may promote it”.

Vision

Vision

We believe the strength of a society lies in the people growing up in it. That is why we want to break through structural barriers: a young person learning Dutch, a child earning a diploma, a displaced person getting their file in order. We want to address problems at the root and go beyond treating symptoms — with projects that have lasting impact and that are close to the people, locally.

Two fields of work

What we focus on, and why.

01

Sociale inclusie
